I heard and felt the locking mechanism kick in, so it was really closed. Two of my fingers were dented for a while. They still hurt and are on ice. Nothing broken (I think). I couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably since it was one of those situations that one never thought would happen in real life. Currently typing with one hand for a while.
