Where to begin (or continue).
The first anniversary was spent in luxury with my wife. Business was almost dead at Stonehedge, so it felt like we were the only guests there. There was something about having the entire staff catering to just us. This was evident in asking whether we were dining in the Left Bank Restaurant so that they will know whether to open the kitchen. Facials. Hot stone massages. Salt scrubs. Sugar rubs. It was about forgetting that our schedules were hectic. It was about forgetting it was a Tuesday and that we had work the next day and rehearsal later in the evening.
Wednesday was the final rehearsal before opening night, so it was a long day since the two of us came from Tyngsboro straight to our jobs. Thursday was a different (and long) story.
